Dining at Al Mahara, the luxurious seafood restaurant inside the Burj Al Arab, is not just a meal—it’s an experience unlike any other. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for something special. The grand entrance, the soft glow of golden interiors, and the mesmerizing floor-to-ceiling aquarium in the center of the dining room created an ambiance that felt almost surreal.
Since Al Mahara is known for its seafood, I decided to go all out and try their signature caviar and lobster dishes. The Oscietra Caviar, served with delicate blinis and a touch of crème fraîche, was the perfect way to start the meal. Every bite was smooth, buttery, and full of rich, oceanic flavors.

For the main course, I ordered the Butter-Poached Maine Lobster. It arrived elegantly plated, paired with a saffron-infused sauce that enhanced the natural sweetness of the lobster. The texture was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and every bite felt like pure indulgence.
Of course, no luxury meal is complete without dessert. I opted for the gold-leaf chocolate sphere, which was as extravagant as it sounds. Watching the warm caramel sauce melt the chocolate shell to reveal a luscious praline mousse inside was an experience in itself.
The service was impeccable, with every dish arriving at just the right moment. While the price tag was undeniably high, the experience—between the world-class food, stunning setting, and unmatched hospitality—made it worth every dirham. If you’re ever in Dubai and looking to splurge on a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, Al Mahara is the place to be.
